Erin Garden Club and Horticultural Society

The Erin Garden Club is part of District 7 of the Ontario Horticultural Association. There are currently over 100 members in the garden club who enjoy plants and gardening for personal enjoyment. The members are always learning more about horticulture through guest speakers at the monthly meetings and special events.

The monthly meetings bring folks with a common interest in gardening together to share their knowledge and experiences. The guest speakers bring to even the most knowledgeable and experienced gardener exciting topics and new perspectives.

The members work together to make Erin a more beautiful place through the planting of the town flower beds and tree planting projects.

Are you fond of growing various types of plants in your greenhouses and garden? If so, the you will surely find the Erin Garden Club perfect. You will find people in this club who love gardening just as much as you do. Here, you can exchange knowledge and ideas in improving your gardening skills. This is truly a great group for people who wants to maximize their skill set in the field of gardening.

President's Message

Once again it's that time of year when our thoughts turn towards the sunshine of spring and all its warm promises. Looking back on the past year, I couldn't feel more proud of our Garden Club. Many wonderful and interesting speakers, our first Seedy Saturday involvement, great workshops, fabulous plant sale including an On-line sale throughout the year, flower shows and so much more.

My sincere gratitude and thanks to all our fabulous volunteers who help to make our Garden Club run as smoothly as it does. We couldn't do what we do, without all of your help! We have put together an interesting program and hope you can find time to participate in some events and join us at our regular meetings. Looking forward to another exciting year.
